Marion Mold & Tool maintains a controlled inspection atmosphere of 68-74 degrees Fahrenheit with 40% to 60% RH. The inspection lab is isolated from production to assure measurements are accurate and repeatable without impact from vibrations induced in the manufacturing process.
Full 5-axis inspection is achieved with a Zeiss Accura CMM, and all other validation is performed with the latest gauge technology. All inspection equipment calibration is fully NIST-traceable and maintained with automated calibration due and recall methods.
First Article/First Piece inspections are performed on each Aerospace part produced prior to production release.
All records are maintained electronically and available upon customer request. Full traceability is maintained by a unique job number that links all material, manufacturing, special processing and inspection records in one package for quick and easy access.
More than 100 years of combined quality assurance experience is built into each product delivered by Marion Mold & Tool.
Our primary design and programming software is Catia V5. We also utilize Solid Edge and Autocad Lite, giving us the capability to read most any part or drawing format such as:
Marion Mold & Tool also provides reverse engineering services to design and document machine parts either in our lab or onsite at the customer’s facility. Re-engineering services offer longer life and wear resistance, resulting in less downtime and improved efficiencies for our customers. The onsite advantage allows real-time design review and fit/application verification to assure no impact on associated processing equipment in the customer’s manufacturing process. The onsite design and engineering can also generate additional processing equipment improvement ideas.
